<![CDATA[The Novel More Silent than a Whisper By Andina dwifatma is a good literary work and is interesting to read. In the novel there are several problems so that there are several characters in it. This study aims to describe the characters contained in the novel. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The source of data in this study was obtained from a novel "More Quiet Than a Whisper" by Andina Dwifatma which was published in 2021 and is her second novel after a season and another season in 2013. Data collection was carried out using reading, note-taking and library techniques to make it easier get the data results. Data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data analysis was carried out to make it easier to analyze, because after the data was reduced or selected important things, the next step was to present the data in a shorter description and finally draw conclusions to obtain evidence that supports data collection. In this study, it is focused only on the main characters, namely Amara and Baron who have different characteristics. Amara is a woman with a character who is responsible for her life choices but feels anxious every day. Meanwhile, Baron is a man who is selfish and ambitious about what he wants.]]>

<![CDATA[Short story is one part of literary works in the form of prose. Short stories or short stories, which are more popular with the acronym short story, are one of the most popular types of fiction written by people. This study aims to determine the ability of class X students of Eria Private Vocational School Medan in the 2021-2022 learning year in writing short stories. The population in this study were all students of class X SMK Private Eria Medan, totaling 38 students with reasons below 100, so the sample was from the entire population. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design. By using a research design of one group pre-test and post-test design group. The instrument used is an essay test to write short stories. The average value before using the guided method was 65.60, while the average value after using the guided method was 79.71. Thus it is said that the test score using the guided method is higher than before using the guided method. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that the guided method has a positive effect on the ability of class X students at the Eria Private Vocational School in Medan for the 2021-2022 academic year in writing short storiesShort story is one part of literary works in the form of prose. <![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dalam kepenulisan sebuah teks narasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAS RIZKI ANANDA pada siswa kelas X semester 2 tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Jumlah populasi disekolah ini adalah 69 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah true eksperiment dengn post test only control desain. Pengambilan data berdasarkan random sampling dimana data ini diperoleh dari kelas X saja, karena total kelas untuk kelas X hanya satu sehingga penelitian ini tidak memiliki kelas control, namun hanya memiliki kelas eksperimen sebagai acuan peneliti melakukan penelitian mengambil data. Dikelas X ini dilakukan 4 kali penelitian, 2 kali penelitian tanpa menggunakan aplikasi, dengan diakhiri mengerjakan 10 soal setelah pertemuan sedangkan 2 kali penelitian terakhir menggunakan aplikasi wattpad , dengan memberikan 2 soal diakhir pembelajar agar dapat menjadi acuan data perbandingan. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan pada penelitian kali ini adalah uji t yaitu t hitung 0,05 (2,0480,05). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi wattpad memiliki pengaruh dalam memabantu peserta didik dalam menulis sebuah teks narasi bagi kelas X SMAS RIZKI ANANDA]]>

<![CDATA[This study analyzed the acquisition of Indonesian in the first and second languages of children aged 5-6 years in Paud Gendis, Sari Rejo Village, Medan Polonia. The problem discussed in this study is that there is a student at PAUD Gendis who is aged from 5-6 years old who still uses the first language in interacting and communicating with his friends and teachers. This can refer to several factors that make children still use their first language so that children have difficulty in learning the acquisition of their second language. The object of study is the field of phonology. The data presentation technique carried out, the researcher used a descriptive pattern. Researchers used a diary of how children speak in interacting with their teachers or friends and used video tape as a substitute for notebooks. Next is to take each utterance and describe the context. This research was conducted using a method of listening to the use of language. The basic technique of this method is in the form of tapping technique and is followed by advanced techniques in the form of free listening and note-taking techniques. As a result of the analysis of the 16 children, there were 7 children who made a lot of laryngal or hamzah sounds in sentences ending in the vowels /a/, /i/, and /u/. not only that, there were 7 children who experienced phonological changes resulting in sound changes such as the phoneme /r/ to /l/, /d/ to /t/ and /n/ to /m/. in this case, 7 children who are already 5-6 years old are classified as unnatural, because the child's age can already obtain a second language or be perfect in the mention and sound of the language used by the child. This greatly makes the child later have difficulty in speaking opponents because it is still difficult to understand the meaning of the child's language.]]>

<![CDATA[Menonton drama korea telah menjadi bagian dari kegiatan dikehidupan masyarakat di dunia san salah satunya di indonesia sebagai salah satu bentuk media hiburan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan melalui menonton drama Korea terhadap kemampuan menulis naskah drama oleh siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Medan tahun pembelajaran 2021-2022. jumlah siswa 35 siswa yang menjadi sampel penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis naskah drama singkat oleh siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Medan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Disini yang dimaksud dengan deskriptif kuantitatif adalah untuk menggambarkan, menjelaskan, atau meringkaskan berbagai kondisi, situasi, fenomena, atau berbagai variabel penelitian. Metode deskriptif dilakukan dengan maksud melihat akibat dari suatu perilaku. Metode ini digunakan karena penelitian ingin mengetahui pengaruh menonton drama terhadap kemampuan menulis naskah drama singkat. Pengambilan data dalam penelittian ini adalah dengan membagikan angket kepada siswa dan juga melakukan tes tulis berupa menulis naskah drama singkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada hubungan yag signifikan antara menonton drama Korea dengan kemampuan menulis naskah drama singkat siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Medan. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada pada perbandingan nilai rxy dan rtabel yakni (0,462 0333). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh kebiasaan menonton drama Korea terhadap kemampuan menulis naskah drama oleh siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2021-2022.]]>

<![CDATA[Cerpen adalah bagian dari karya sastra yang menggambarkan berbagai macam kehidupan dalam masyarakat, misalnya dalam kehidupan politik, ekonomi, agama, sosial dan budaya. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam kedua cerpen ini adalah unsur intrinsik, kebahasaan dan aspek–aspek sosial dalam cerpen Lungun dan Nande Rudang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode deskriptif merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk pemecahan masalah yang tampak berdasarkan fakta atau kenyataan yang tampak sebagaimana adanya. Metode deskriptif digunakan peneliti adalah untuk menggambarkan atau mengungkapkan keadaan yang sebenarnya mengenai analisis cerpen yang berjudul Lungun dan Nande Rudang. Dalam cerpen Lungun dan Nande Rudang menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Namun demikian, terdapat beberapa bahasa yang tampak digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari–hari masyarakat Batak Toba dan bahasa Batak Karo seperti Omak (Ibu), Rudang (Bunga).]]>

<![CDATA[This research focuses on problems related to the form of moral values teaching, and the elements of story building that are used to convey the moral values contained in the novel Dua Garis Biru by Lucia Priandarini and Gina S. Noer. Data collection was carried out by means of reading and note-taking techniques, then data analysis was carried out by using qualitative descriptive method techniques. The research instrument used was the researcher himself and was assisted by a friend to research the novel so that the data obtained was more accurate. Based on the results of research that has been carried out regarding the moral values in the novel Dua Garis Biru by Lucia Priandari and Gina S. Noer, there are 10 aspects in it, namely Assertive, Forgiving, True to Promises, Living in Harmony, Deliberation, Caring for Others, Please Help, Pray to God, Respect Others, and Parental Love for Children. The moral values in the novel make various problems that exist to be resolved because of concern, help each other, and various problems that can be discussed and discussed will find ways to solve them.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the form of code switching and code mixing of Javanese and Indonesian languages in the interaction of residents of NamoBintangDusu II Sumberingin Village. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of this research is the interaction of the residents of NamoBintang Village. The method of data collection was done by recording, question and answer, and note-taking techniques. The results of the study indicate the cause of the use of Javanese language more often and find out the form of code switching and code mixing conversations which include: internal code switching, external code switching, temporary code switching, and permanent code switching as well as the form of terms in Javanese which include: klotekkan, sengenge , nimble, sluggish, pententengan, and mayeng-mayeng.]]>

<![CDATA[AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui (1) bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi; dan (2) jenis tindak tutur ilokusi dalam film pendek yang berjudul “Monokrom” yang terbit pada tahun 2021. Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian deskripsi kualitatif dalam penelitian ini. Dialog para tokoh dalam film pendek “Monokrom” sebagai sumber data dalam penelitian ini. Film yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah film pendek “Monokrom” yang erat kaitannya dengan Perbedaan Budaya (Culture Shock) dan kebiasaan masyarakat yang ada di Indonesia. Pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan teknik simak bebas libat cakap dan catat dalam penelitian ini sebagai instrumen dalam penelitian ini, Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalis atau sebagai pisau analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pragmatik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang ditemukan oleh peneliti, dapat disimpulkan menjadi dua. Pertama, bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi yang didapatkan dalam film pendek “Monokrom” yaitu deklaratif, imperatif, dan interogatif. Data kedua jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yang ditemukan ialah asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif.]]>

<![CDATA[Analisis Sosiologi Sastra pada novel Pulang Karya Tere Liye. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui analisis sosiologi pada novel Pulang. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan struktur intrinsik dalam novel dan mendeskripsikan fungsi sosiologi sastra. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Deskriptif Kualitatif. Pengumpulan data yaitu dengan membaca mencatat objek yang akan diteliti. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa konteks sosial pengarang dalam novel Pulang karya Tere Liye bahwa novel tersebut diciptakan berdasarkan kepada hasil refleksi dari kehidupan masyarakat. Sastra sebagai cerminan zaman novel pulang karya tere liye merupakan cerminan zaman bagi pembaca dari novel tersebut bahwa setiap perjuangan yang kerja keras tidak akan mengkhianati hasil. Selain itu, bahwa sosiologi pada novel Pulang karya Tere Liye ada nilai moral tokoh utama yang perlu dijadikan cerminan bagi pembaca. Seperti tokoh utama mempunyai moral rajin, kerja keras, jujur, taat. Kemudian yang paling penting bahwa tokoh utama tidak melupakan asal dari mana dia lahir dan pulang dalam keadaan baik, baik itu pulan ke pangkuan ibu atau pulang menhadap Tuhan.]]>
